My wife has been cutting my hair for over 6 years. We have used three clippers and these are by far the best. They are quiet and both the hair clipper and trimmer are much quieter, much like what you would hear a professional hairdresser do, very sharp and just work well. They went right through my hair which is normally cut every 2 weeks even after waiting 3 weeks at the time. The trimmer is razor sharp and easily cuts through all the fine hair and fine details around the ears and neck. I will be updating the review every few months regarding the sharpness of the blades and anything new we come across on these clippers. They're much higher quality than what you'll find at Wal-Mart or Target. I would recommend them to anyone cutting their hair at home, these are well built, durable clippers that won't disappoint. updated 1.12. - I've had 2 haircuts with this clipper and I'm very satisfied. Nice straight cut with minimal effort. My wife really likes these clippers more than our cheaper models as they are much sharper and quieter. My hair also grows more evenly when it's time for my next haircut, I don't look as messy :)
