Husband bought both large and medium. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slim build. He usually wears big ones. But at first when he tried them on in a plus size, they seemed too big to him. He looked a little sloppy and out of proportion. and it was just a little tight, making it uncomfortable to wear. We then realized that the length of the large tee was an issue for the large - it was about 2 1/2 inches longer. He liked the material and the fit of the t-shirt. So I sewed them to his usual desired length. He spray-painted them with his own sticker and now he enjoys wearing them. They have not shrunk after washing and drying on high heat. Material is thicker (old school) than new modern t-shirts.
