Review on Tungsten Carving Polish Drill Engrave by Clayton Jimenez

I work with metals as a hobby and often use a good quality Tungsten Carbide (TC) cutter to finish the workpiece I am working on smooth and shape. . This is a very well made set of 5 double cut carbide tipped 1/4" shanks for use in my rotary tool. They are beautifully finished with a rough bright TC double cut with no visible flaws and come in many useful shapes (bump, cylinder, cone, ball, pointed wood). These TC burrs are housed in plastic burr holders inside. (see photos). Keeping them separate keeps the burr teeth from colliding and dulling. The overall length is almost 3" - 65mm (Photo 3). The ball end mill is shorter, about 55mm. This is great value and suits my metalworking with a high speed rotary tool. I always wear a face shield when using millstones. The protection before Metal splintering is critical and I highly recommend safety goggles and a face shield When used with steel a slightly lower D speed required. They are durable due to the hardness of TC, but a lighter touch will prolong the life of the bit than hard pressure during use.
