Review on Honeywell Replacement Wicking Filter A, 3 Pack: Efficient White Filters (3 Count) by Tremain Lapan

Blue coating soaks up all the water and I keep getting these black flakes or something in my filter? I sincerely hope it doesn't get moldy and sometimes just rinse off. But it's a bit worrying that it shows up after a day or two. I literally changed my filter that wasn't the updated blue and honestly I'd rather keep using them than these! I also flip the filter every time I fill up the tank and it's pretty FREQUENTLY! By the way, I use distilled water and purify it pretty well, I find that distilled water is pretty clean on its own. I use a humidifier 24/7 because my room is pretty dry, I even have my own humidity thermometer. But honestly it's not wet enough, even if it's "53%" on the highest settings. I still wake up with a parched throat for a few minutes. And unfortunately my nose is still blocked up dry.
