Stabilizer for Solvit ramps
This adapter stabilizes my Solvit ramp when using the side door of my SUV. Since the side door does not open fully to properly stabilize the ramp, this adapter, when properly attached to the door, provides a safe surface for dogs to use the ramp. The part that hangs on the door is a rubber-coated metal part so it doesn't scratch the car's paintwork. What type of Solvit ramp you get depends on what type of clamp (a good plastic) you use in your adapter assembly. My dogs weigh less than 50 pounds so I wasn't concerned about the adapter's weight load. I am so happy that this product came to market.
