After using this bottle for a few months, I overcame initial resistance and figured out how to use it without irritating myself like I did at first. It's not perfect, but good enough. Also, the seller was very responsive and let me try another design that I liked less. Original rating changed from 4 to 5. Hi! I've only had this bottle for two weeks and use it daily with brita filtered water. While I can't confirm that the device properly hydrates the water, the water tastes great. The bottle appears to be well made, operating and charging is fairly easy - EXCEPT for one crucial issue: the design is flawed. Rather than having a separate cap on top, the generator also doubles as a bottle cap, meaning you have to flip the cap. Bottle before starting the hydration process. I abused it with the alternator cover on top until I looked into it more closely as it didn't feel right. There is absolutely nothing about it in the instructions for use or the product description on Revain. Now if you look at other similar products they all seem to separate the generator part (at the bottom of the bottle) from the cap (at the top). Because the generator doubles as a cap, it's almost impossible not to press the control button when screwing or unscrewing the cap. So I always have to push it back to turn it off, and I suspect it's wasting battery life unnecessarily. This is a major flaw in the design of the product and while I am happy with the product, otherwise I tend to return it and replace it with a more convenient and efficient product.
