I hesitated to buy this product because of all the terrible reviews. I read from several buyers that there were no instructions so I didn't expect any instructions and had to find out everything. But when he came he had instructions! And they were easy to follow with a chart and letters for each part. So, I don't know why I had one and not the other. Another thing, I'm a seller at farmers markets and events and I use this stand to display my jewelry on a heavy antique window with wire mesh nailed to it. I had no problems. holds ok He never fell. A piece of wood arrived bent but still serves its purpose.
