Review on ๐Ÿ”ฒ 3 oz. Brown Wood, Laminate, and Vinyl Putty by Roberts by Marcus Rash

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cosmetically much better than regular wood putty

This material is smooth and easy to apply, like a very thick moisturizer. Easy to sand, but so smooth that it usually doesn't need to be smoothed before drying. If you have the right color (or stock a mix of colors) dyeing may even be unnecessary or even counterproductive. (I had a small hole in my kitchen cabinet that was almost invisible with this putty alone - stains didn't help). Painter's pigments) can work, but check the formula to see if it's water or oil based. Keep in mind if your putty is in a stressed area, adding more color pigment will decrease the hardness of the putty and the curing time is likely to be increased).

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Has issues
