I was looking for a new one as my old one died. This one is very good and can do more than my old one. This is an updated version as it can also be used with Bluetooth. I love that you don't have to use a CD and there are many ways to listen to music. My kids love it because it's small and compact. You can play CDs when they play. It's pretty easy to use, has pretty good sound quality, and plays its CDs without any problems. It has a top-loading CD player and the controls are on the front. It's so easy to see the button even in low light, which button to press to turn on, pause, stop this CD player, to repeat etc. The lettering is the perfect size. It has a decent sound for melodies. It has a built in handle for carrying indoors or outdoors and is also AC/DC powered. It also has an AM/FM radio and the FM radio reception isn't too bad. Overall this is a decent looking and decent sounding portable boombox that gets the job done for the price. The best part is that it's analog and simple; Digital display is for CD, not for radio. The radio uses the lettering around the knob to tune and it's a little touchy going from station to station, but then we only use one or two stations. Its light weight and speaker is very clear.
