Opening and closing turns the display on and off
The size and finish met my expectations. Durable, lightweight and stylish. I have a layout laptop model and my excitement distracted me from the advertised auto sleep/wake feature. When I noticed this, I thought about buying a second one as a replacement. I probably will, but it won't be necessary. I often take my tablet with me on camping trips when doing construction and maintenance work. Common tablet environments such as home, school, office. I think they can last for years. However, strong solvents and industrial cleaners can damage the finish.
