I bought this water chiller for a bucket (3.5 gallons to start, can handle up to 5 gallons) deep water culture for growing. So far no complaints! Before I bought one of these, I struggled with Pythium root rot due to high water temperatures, which often reached 80°F. This keeps the water temperature stable between 65-69°F. There is a small issue with the unit's thermometer/temperature assembly being in the water. Nothing serious, it's about a degree and a half from the exact reading. I just set the unit to chill the water at 58°F to keep the water at 65-68° and it works fine. All the inscriptions on the product are written in Chinese, but setting it up and operating it is quite simple. Degree settings are only displayed in degrees Celsius. The water pump that came with it didn't have a 5/8" hose adapter. As a result, I had to buy a whole new pump. That's why the product gets 4/5 stars. Other than that, I'm happy with the purchase and think the price is worth it.
