52 inch waist here. I took both 2XL and 3XL because I read that they are a bit big. I was expecting 2XL to be correct but both fit about the same. Then when I wrote this review I noticed that both have a separate label in multiple languages that says 5XL on the side and both are the same size. Strange! And he declares that"a little big". I'm sure I could draw them down to 2XL with a drawstring if needed, so I'm sure that's an excuse. Hell, the drawstring might even be different. Shorts marked 2xl and 3xl are tied differently, not sure. But yes, it is a very comfortable pajama bottom. Good and light. I'll take a few more pairs to switch between them.
