bought this juicer after much research (endless youtube reviews) of more expensive models; I bought an Aicok for $90, which was fine, but with the amount I was squeezing (at least 24 ounces a day), it just wasn't enough - it wasn't good for leafy greens or "fibrous" foods either - it got stuck. at the slightest amount of wheatgrass, and I was only able to get about 12 ounces of cabbage juice before it stuck. This juicer did a great job and is much quieter. I love that it has a slicer on top so you don't really have to cut anything except REALLY big things like pineapple. Handles everything great. I'm not sure you should do this, but I throw it straight into the dishwasher and it comes out nice and clean; It's a few extra parts than my previous juicer and therefore takes a little longer to disassemble, but that's okay as I make all my juices ahead of the week (can't imagine trying to assemble/assemble it every day disassemble). I highly recommend this juicer over the cheaper $80-$90 versions if you can save the extra money; This is a great combination of quality and price compared to super expensive juicers.
