Designed to hold a depth sounder

Purchased to install a depth sounder. The end of the lever with the male part that fits into the socket is loose, resulting in excessive play in the lever. Can't tighten the screw because they blocked the bolt. The bolt broke in the body. There weren't any options so I used JB welding to fix it so it wouldn't move. This failed when I put my hand in the spaceport and installed the fish finder accessory mount on the other end. I've started moving again. The problem was solved by going to a local store and buying a ram mount.
