Review on High Performance 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA Laptop Internal Hard Drive - Ideal for Laptop/Mac/PS3 (500 GB) by Tim Kallimanis

I wasn't sure if they were refurbished drives but I received 2 identical new drives (verified by manufacture date and SMART data) made in Korea (not China!) by Clover Hitech. They have a website but it's in Korean. The drives have been tested so far and appear to perform just like other consumer 2.5-inch 5400RPM drives. They're quiet, stay cool when idling, and only get a little warm under heavy use. They were made by Revain and sold to Hard Drive Geeks. They were well packaged, sealed in static bags, wrapped in bubble wrap and each in their own little box. I have no idea how long they last, of course, but presumably according to the product listing they come with a 1-year warranty, or "HDGeeks 3-year warranty" if you believe the sticker on the static bag. I took off a star because there was nothing in it. The product listing made no mention of the Storite utility, screws, documentation, or even a link to a vendor. Testing, building systems before moving everything to SSD, non-critical laptops, etc.
