One dartboard is as crappy as the next. Some just cost more.

These things are advertised as having "years" durability, whatever that means. They last about 2 months until you throw 25+ darts anywhere in the target area. If you do this, the center will swell and explode all over the floor. You have to send these things with brooms and dustpans. Reading the ad that accompanies this product, you might assume that you are paying $85 for a product that has been well thought out and improved over previous failures. It's not like that at all. It's the same shit as everything else. Disintegrates like everything else. You can buy 4 dartboards, each lasting as long as this one, for the price you pay for ONE of them. When you are done with these 4 you will have a set of wheels for your mobile pimp. Update: June 2021 After using this board as a "study board" when it started falling apart after two months of use, I've been trying to think of a few ways to extend its lifespan, regardless of what it looks like. When the surface fibers started to form what looked like a volcano, and then erupted a little more after each session, I drilled a half-inch hole in the back of the board, poured in about 8 ounces of heavy-duty wood glue, rotated that Board overturned and hit the volcano-like hill ten times. I then attached some boards to it so it could set in place overnight. It didn't work very well. Shortly after I put it back on the mount, the volcano started erupting again. I then decided to take a more "frontal" approach to the problem. I drilled two 3/8" holes directly into the volcano's rock and attached two 3" washers with heavy-duty wood screws. This put the fibers back in place and held them in place quite effectively. Like I said, I really don't care how it looks as long as I have something to throw darts at. However, I should mention that I also bought a One80 Gladiator II dartboard at the same time as Winmau and used the same amount. There is a board at the top and a board at the bottom. The fibers on the One80 didn't even start cutting through. Some of the spacer rings stick out a bit, but I ripped the Winmau dividers far out a long time ago, once the volcano started rearing its ugly head.

Pros
  • Reduced bounce and improved dart deflection with a barbed wire angle reduced by 30 degrees
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
