It is easy to use, cleans effectively and dries quickly. We never had any damage during the cleaning process despite the dirt, grime, grime and dust that our Irish wolfhounds brought into our home. And they bring many benefits. We know from experience that parquet floors need careful maintenance to keep them fresh and clean. Sticking with real "hardwood" is the best route for those looking for hard-wearing floors that will hold up, but can be sanded and polished if necessary. You cannot effectively repair a laminate by sanding. Hardwood can be damaged by falling objects, furniture dragged over it, spills, and welts from pets and children. However, when the damage extends to multiple planks, not only can it become expensive to replace the affected pieces, but multiple pieces are usually removed and replaced to ensure continuity. In itself, color matching can be difficult. As with marble floors, it makes sense to keep a box of spare slats in stock for eventual use. The same goes for marble floors. It can take a lot of effort before it turns cloudy and the grout turns a dirty dark color. Care should be taken when lightening/replacing the grout. Real cleaning involves sanding the marble to remove stains, and broken tiles need to be saved in case some need to be replaced. Thorough cleaning results in marble dust permeating the entire home and cleaning/polishing processes are time consuming and costly.
