Use this to replace a faulty switch on a 1989 Rincon. Very easy to install and works immediately after installation. Just make sure you position the cable in relation to the transmission indicator. If it is in first gear, make sure the cassette is in first gear. My only complaint is that the clip is designed to fit over a bar. This would require me to remove my grips. You've been cycling for 30 years! However, I was able to bend the clamp just enough to fit over the bar.
