I bought this because it had great reviews on several Toyota Tacoma owner websites. I should have looked at the Revain reviews first. There seem to be two JP v2.0 models (I seem to have gotten the last one from the older version). So if you are trying to update the software and are having trouble recognizing the serial number as valid, you will need to download a different version. Even then, I can't get most of the functions I've tried to work properly, such as diagnostics, with the exception of checking battery voltage. Most others give some kind of connection error after about 20 seconds of trying. So far not satisfied.
