I bought this mount to replace my previous wireless charger with CD slot. The CD mounting mechanism on this unit works great and can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. My previous mount used a spring loaded snap button clip that moved slightly. This mount is better in that regard. The ball joint on this mount is not very tight. This makes it easy to adjust the phone from vertical to horizontal, but I'm concerned that it may be too slack and give way when riding and hitting bumps, for example. Also concerned about how loose this will be after lots of vertical/horizontal adjustments over time. I will update this review if this becomes an issue. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the location/implementation of the metal touch strip that opens the phone release cradle. My phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back that sits very close to the metal strip. When I try to scan my finger to unlock the phone, I can't do so without touching the metal strip that causes the cradle to release my phone. This is a minor annoyance and can be fixed with the PIN or face unlock feature.
