I'm still not sure if this works or not. I use "Knife Handle" so this looked like a good option. After working with him for almost a week, I'm not sure. I have fairly severe osteoarthritis in my right hand and wrist and crocheting has become almost too painful. I've tried several options with varying degrees of success. It works best for pain relief in my hand but not as well for my wrist. Something about the way the handle is curved/tilted means I have to "twist" my wrist to do certain stitches and therein lies the problem. That extra twisting motion isn't good for my wrist at all. It "pinches" something (probably a bone spur or cyst) so I can only crochet for about 30 minutes before it hurts too much to continue. I LOVE the way the metal part is arranged. The "hook" part is almost perfect, right size, right "depth", yoke is very easy (no hooks, no broken threads, etc.). I wish the shaft was a bit longer but overall the shape is perfect. I had high hopes for this and it seems to be working great for some people. I assume this could be a good solution if the problem is in your hands at all. But if you also have wrist problems, it can make the situation worse. For me it's just "OK".
