I lost my favorite gap. I'm sure it will show up, but I ordered this one because I now have to unplug some plugs. This breaker has wires for 40, 50, 60 and 80 thousandths. Those are very big jumps, especially from 60 to 80. It has two more wires: .044 and .045". It's absurd to have them so tight. Was that gap useful? My car needs gaps between .040 and .044, so I might get lucky. There were two other problems. When I increased the gap, there was no wire smaller than .040 to show me as I got closer. Also, the wire loops are random sizes. The one for the .040 only protrudes 3mm from the coin. I measured the gap differently. One of the reasons I chose this gap was because it has 4 curved slots for the ground electrode. In fact 3 of them are 1.96mm wide and the fourth is only slightly wider at 2.01mm. I have a 1.6mm thick electrode. All the slots are too wide to pinch and bend beyond the 90 degree turn. May cause damage. This one Distance is useless to me A long time ago I read that it is better to have one Wire gauge to use as a ramp if the ground electrode is slightly concave. This advice may be out of date. Having a ramp gauge would be like having a wide range of wire sizes. I'll take one with a pipe bender. I saw a demo on YouTube and it looks like it's perfect to fill the gap. (Closing the gap is easy. Essentially I quadruple the mass of the connector by plugging it into an extension socket. Tapping the electrode with a wrench of equal weight gives me an irresistible force hitting an immovable object, and the electrode must give. Tap it lightly, hard enough that it flexes a little, but not too hard.)
