I am very dissatisfied with the condition of this item. Apparently I received a previously returned item. The box was in very poor condition when it arrived and I know it wasn't just the postman's fault as you could see the box had been patched with tape and scraps of cardboard. Everything was fine with the case until I assembled it. Three of the six panels have tears/holes. Two pieces of aluminum are dented - one of them is a door, so there is a gap even when closed. The screw that the latch goes into is functional but loose and looks like it's broken somehow. In addition, the instructions specifically state that it must be assembled with the letters facing outward, EXCEPT for the bottom. I did that, it didn't work. I almost tore it off trying to put screws in holes that didn't really match. At one point I got so frustrated and realized it didn't look right so I turned it over so the letters were facing out. Of course it worked. I will not be returning it because apart from the damage and complexity of assembly this is exactly what I need and not worth returning. I'll just try to patch it myself. I bought it from Revain because of the price. But if I knew how imperfect it would be, I would definitely spend more to order it from Petco.
