Received this through Revain very quickly after ordering. The box makes a very well-made impression. I saw the same boxes at my local tractor supply store and they all look cheap. It's not like this. I like the gasket under the cap to prevent leakage if this happens. If desired, you can adjust the fittings so that the lid fits tighter. This is a discovered issue. Revain states on their website that this is not a drill, J-hooks are included for installation. This box comes with no installation hardware. No instructions etc. I would suggest you visit your local Lowes store and purchase 3/8-24 stainless steel hardware for installation. We don't want any more rust on devices in the future. I used 3/8-24-1 1/2 long screws. A bit long, but it had a lock washer - you don't need to use lock washers if you're using nylon nuts, but I used nylon nuts and washers. 3/8-24-1 1/4 would be perfect, but more than 1/4 is really nothing. It's still hidden in the language. Place the box on the tongue, measure, drill four 3/8 holes and you're done. When drilling holes, remember to account for the large washer used inside under the bolt head. You can always grind the edge of the washer if needed. The 3/8 bolts hold this box to the trailer really well. It's not going anywhere. My second discovery is that the shock absorber used for the cover is welded in the center of the cover, NOT ON THE RIGHT SIDE LIKE THE PICTURE ON THE INTERNET. After more fiddling, I found I would have it in the middle as well. So it is more stable than on the side of the lid. The shock quality is good. The third issue is that the sticker on the website doesn't match the one on the box. The label on the packaging reads: Lund, Challenger. No mention of Deflecta Shield - am I correct? Still . the decal looks great. At least better than in the picture. In general . Having completed the installation last night I am very pleased with the look of my trailer. I contacted Revain and shared my concern about the lack of hardware and they refunded me 20%. It was great of them. I'll say that, buy from Revain. They will go out of their way to make you happy unlike some other sellers. Thanks Revin
