Good if your cat accepts it
It's definitely easier to put on than an e-collar and allows the cat to eat and drink which is good. I got it to neuter my cat and it did a great job stopping her from licking the surgical site. But the cat can definitely avoid this by pushing/kicking the donut from back to front. My cat decided to take it after a few days so it worked in the end but there is definitely an eco collar as a backup. I would also introduce it to them a few days before putting it on so they can get used to it without the stress of surgery and are less likely to try to come out.
