Great for stills and photography

If you want more control than just point and shoot, but don't want to do serious DSLR shooting, then a mirrorless interchangeable lens system is the way to go. the place is right for you. I'm an aspiring photographer who loves getting the best I can afford. This camera is perfect for me. I'm learning to play with aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc. at an affordable price. This camera takes great photos when set up correctly, although it seems to struggle in low-light situations. . But it could also be because I'm still busy with the camera. Here's what you need to keep in mind: There's a learning curve no matter what camera you buy. I took some photos with a friend's GF2 and liked the photos taken with the E-PM1. better. One problem I had was taking photos on the go because I read people complaining that the camera wasn't fast enough. You are wrong. If you adjust the settings properly, the camera will capture things in motion without blurring. Trust me, I did LOTS of RESEARCH before purchasing this camera. I was torn between this and the NEX5. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. And you won't regret choosing a third-party lens system. I chose M42 lenses with an adapter. They are easy to find, relatively cheap and take very good photos. I enjoy becoming a better photographer with this camera. But I don't plan on ever becoming a professional photographer, and I don't want to spend a lot of money on photos that I'm going to email or post online. But I really want to get out of P&S and this camera works really well.
