If you want to use this you are probably using it wrong. It is essentially a space blanket in the form of a bivy sack. It's not sustainable. It's waterproof and adds a few degrees to your sleep system. It doesn't let air through. I've carried it with a tarp instead of a tent on camping trips. When I was caught in a thunderstorm and lost one of my poles in the chaos, my inadequate tarp kept me warm and dry. After that I managed to use it a few more times on cold nights. It weighs almost nothing. This works in no time.
