I have purchased over a dozen scanners to select the best product for a project I am developing for our clients. All of the TEEMI scanners I've bought work the best. Some of the key features that TEEMI scanners offer: * Ability to be configured as a VCP (Virtual Com Port), which means you can connect your application to the scanner via com instead of using it as a keyboard. * Highly customizable where you can add almost any data you need at the beginning or end of the data to be read! * Most importantly (to me) it can read high-density PDF417 barcodes, similar to the types used on driver's licenses. * Powered by a simple USB connection! * The design is nice, they don't feel cheap or flimsy, and they work well in harsh environments. I would also like to point out that the TEEMI Store support is fantastic! They provided me with detailed serial communication programming codes very quickly! Great products at a great price!
