This antenna doesn't really resonate on the ham radio bands. For something advertised as a ham radio antenna I was hoping that the lowest return loss would be on the ham bands. See attached photos for details of the two units I purchased. This was tested in the middle of the roof of my car, there were no obstacles nearby. For reference: 6dB RL = 3:1 VSWR, 9dB RL = 2:1 VSWR, 14dB RL = 1.5:1. and you get the idea. 2/5 stars anyway because it's definitely not as broadband as advertised and I wouldn't hesitate to hook up more than a cheap HT to this antenna. This works great for MURS and GMRS.
