I work in industrial automation, especially automatic control systems. About 6 months ago I installed gray and black water sensors. We live on wheels all the time and didn't stay in one place for more than 2 weeks until recently. We've been here for about a month now. During the ride I always left a small amount of water with the cascade in gray and the enzyme in black, which helped keep the sensors clean. However, over time the sensors on each tank stayed at 1/4 tank, then 1/2 tank, and now only the top sensor goes out on drain. I would say overall not worth the effort or investment. I can imagine an external sensory system, but they also have their problems. I almost gave up on the internal tank sensors.
