Replacing the remote control
The remote control is exactly as pictured, requires no programming and looks like the one that came with the TV. The battery door closer doesn't stay closed though, it pops open so I have to tape it off. I can live with that, since that's why I ordered the replacement. The original remote that came with the TV did the same thing and I had to keep it closed. I suspect I'll have the same problem if I swap this one out. I have a lot of band and the controller works fine so I'm happy. Also, the price was very reasonable and now I have an extra controller.
