This monitor seems to work very well. The only problem I had was that I had it connected to my computer with an HDMI cable. I plugged in the power strip that the monitor is plugged into and was able to get into the monitor's menu. I booted up my computer but got a black screen. I heard windows start up and still black screen. I was then able to bring up the monitor menu and set the HDMI input, which brought up my desktop. With the HDMI connection, I couldn't expand it to full screen, there was a border of about an inch around it. I still couldn't get it to full screen via the menu using the HDMI cable. Most of the settings were not available with an HDMI connection. I turned it off, unplugged the HDMI cable and plugged in the VGA cable that came with the monitor and had to change the input to VGA. Restarted the computer and this time it was full screen, no borders. When I get the new DVI cable I ordered I'll see how it works with this monitor. My other monitors automatically detect which cables are connected to them without having to go into the menu. Otherwise it's a decent monitor for my needs.
