Review on 🐢 Cycle Dog Bottle Opener Recycled Dog Collar: Eco-Friendly Pet Accessory with Secure Seatbelt Metal Buckle by Maria Gray

Revainrating 4 out of 5

*The only* collar for [one] of my dogs!

Hard wearing and colorful dog collar. I'm not crazy about the bottle opener on the collar. I've used it zero times to open a bottle (I've used a Cycle Dog on-leash bottle opener once or twice). My former 110 lb dog accidentally caught a bottle opener on top of his cage and nearly hanged himself. Luckily I noticed that he was in his cage with the door open and wouldn't come out when I called him and he seemed to be having trouble moving. . I shudder to think what would have happened if I had left the house for a few hours. I guess that was an unusual/rare occurrence but knowing it could happen again scares me. If I had a way to cut off a bottle opener, I would. Other than that, this is the only collar I can use on either of my two current dogs. My dogs (40 and 80 pounds) are young and very playful. The 80-pounder loves to grab the 40-pounder by the collar while playing. When she (40lbs) put on a collar with a plastic clasp, he (80lbs) finally bit off the clasp and we found the remains of the collar in his yard. We exchanged it for a collar with a metal buckle. Sometimes he would put it right in his mouth and pop the cap. After searching we found the collar somewhere in our garden - still good because he couldn't break the metal clasp, but he could anyway and took it from her. The Cycle Dog collar has a seat belt buckle. Getting rid of a human is not easy (but not difficult either), and it is [still] impossible for our big dog to get his sister's collar. So far this is the only collar my large dog won't take off his neck!

Cons
