Perfect lighting for the dining table and board games!

Bought two red ones. Both settings work fine. During dinner, I place them on both the dining table and the picnic table like candle holders. I have an LED work light for board games, sewing and art projects, which is fine, but shadows have always been a minor annoyance that didn't bother me too much. However, once I saw how well a pair of these lights illuminated the table without glare in anyone's eyes and reduced shadows, I started using them on both ends of a board game or projects: up during the day, down at night. Spreading the light, reducing glare and shadows is a huge improvement over traditional lighting for close-up tasks. They don't tip over with light hits: the feet are heavy and therefore well balanced for use at the table at lunch or at work. I didn't expect them to like and appreciate them both as much as I do. Now I don't want to eat or play and work at my desk without them. Red is fun for chores, informal dinners, parties and will be moody at Christmas. Their only downside is that they think they'll last a long time. Once charged (12 hours on low and 8 hours on high), they will charge for hours. If you forget to charge them after about 3 uses, they will start to dim and you won't be able to use them while charging. So I plan on getting a silver pair both for more formal dinners with guests and other celebrations, and as a backup if I forget to charge them overnight when needed. They are strong, attractive and reliable and are one of the few high value items that I have not recently bought from Revain as a replacement. I don't normally post pictures with my reviews so I didn't think to take pictures when in use but I'll add them here as soon as I think of taking pictures.
