Considering the very reasonable price, I was pleased to get excellent performing stainless steel inspection filters that competed with much more expensive versions (for me in the Compare them to an all-clad filter kit). They're very versatile - check out the photos above where they easily sift through cat food dust, Thanksgiving turkey broth, veggies and flour. The filters are strong but not too heavy (good considering the weight of the food). An additional loop makes it easy to place the strainer over a bowl or saucepan, for example to hold back starchy water from pasta or potatoes, to add back to sauce or mashed potatoes. And they wash up in the dishwasher like a dream. The large one might be a bit bigger to handle 16 ounce noodles, but overall they're very good.
