This is a complete and very basic set. I used the free SuperDuper for a simple one-time disk cloning. I left it running at night while I slept so I don't know how long it took, but in the morning I just replaced the drive with the one in my Late 2015 MacBook Air and it started up right away like nothing new. Now I have almost 4 times more space for photos, videos etc. It's been running for a month now and hence the problems. I kept the old hard drive in the case that came with it in case something happened. At least I now have a spare hard drive that I can use to access the Time Capsule. The only thing I didn't notice was that the kit comes with the necessary screwdrivers, so I bought an extra set. Everything you need is included except the cloning software.
