Review on ๐Ÿ“ท Fotasy Nikon F Mount Lens to Nikon Z Mount Adapter: Seamless Compatibility for Nikon Z Mirrorless Cameras (Z5 Z50 Z6 Z7 Z6 II Z7 II) by Sabryna Wickings

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Inexpensive blunt adapter for attaching a Canon FD lens to a Nikon Z mount.

I removed the star because I had to remove it. But I don't have to take it off because I don't have a Canon Fd mount camera right now. This is not a full FTZ adapter, there are no electrical connections so the Nikon camera cannot control anything in the lens. I don't care, I grew up with the Nikon F and the Leica M3, both manual and non-electronic cameras. Adapters like this are great for people who have older lenses and are adventurous enough to play around with. Otherwise buy Nikon FTZ if you have old compatible Nikon glass.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Transparency

The M42 to Nikon Z adapter with helicoid is heavy and crude, but still a lot of fun
