I used to buy a small unamplified Terk antenna for $10 and this works a little better. It also works better for me than a regular wire FM dipole no matter how I moved the dipole. Bingfu's 9ft cable allowed me to place the antenna on a high windowsill and the height always helps with the FM signal. The cable is thin but seems to carry the signal well. I was impressed with the quality of the included adapters, although I didn't need them to install. I followed the reviewer's recommendation of using a metal glass lid to provide greater and more secure support for the small (weak) magnetic base. A bead of 3M double-sided adhesive is included so you can use it to stabilize the antenna once you've found the best position for it. Its vertical orientation seems to make it a true omnidirectional antenna rather than a Turk or dipole, and moving it around can help avoid interference from lights, appliances, etc., but the signal doesn't really change unless you raise it higher, it will help. The antenna is very small and not noticeable, which is also a plus. Like Turk, it was an improvement over the dipole. But Bingfu is easier to set up and works a little better.
