I used to buy a small unamplified Terk antenna for $10 and this works a little better. It also works better for me than a regular wire FM dipole no matter how I moved the dipole. Bingfu's 9ft cable allowed me to place the antenna on a high windowsill and the height always helps with the FM signal. The cable is thin but seems to carry the signal well. Despite all the claims that this is one of the best options, it ends up offering nothing other than the main cable that comes with the AVR. There is a very diverse selection of channels scattered across the valley so it is fairly easy to compare and match antennas when it comes to clarity and number of channels/transmitters. This one did nothing more than a standard wire. Unfortunately, this didn't get very far for us.
