I've been buying these tulip cups for about a year now and I'm also sending them to family members to try with breakfast muffins that we bake and freeze. The design of the cup is great for making large cupcakes which I put about 2/3 C of batter in. The design sent to customers has changed. The base of the old cup was 2" and now it's 1 7/8". While it sounds trivial, this cuts out part of the cupcake area. The height of the cup has also changed and is about 1/2 inch shorter. They still hold 2/3C - yes, but barely, and there's no room for error like there was with the old larger shell design. The paper has also changed, the packaging now says "made in China". The styrofoam cup that protects open cups from damage is no longer used. I'm a little frustrated with the change in the actual product, but there's no indication of the change in the Royal description. I sent an inquiry directly to the Royal customer inquiries website and never received a response. If you don't want a really big tulip cup this might work for you, but if you want a large cup that fits in a standard cupcake pan this might be a disappointment. I will note that I have already linked another brand and found them even smaller.
