This is a good solid vacuum cleaner for my mother's car. I was expecting a noisy car but it's not noisy at all. In comparison, it was honestly about as loud as a vibrating phone rattling on a table. Much quieter than I expected and it only took me about 10 minutes to get the vacuum level up to what I needed. I wait about 45 minutes and the vacuum stays at the same negative level so I haven't had any issues with leaks. However, if you do use it, MAKE SURE you tightly cap the nozzle you are not using. This plastic lid isn't just for keeping dirt out; It creates a seal where if left open and there is another hose on the other nozzle you won't have a vacuum.
