Review on Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 205/55 R16 91H summer by Vassil Varbanov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

5 years of service on a Nissan Tiida, modest mileage (no more than 40t. Km. for the entirety of the time), tread in great condition (moderate driving; no abrupt starts or stops; no emergency braking). Maintains its grip on the racetrack and the city, and performs admirably on the dirt road (but not porridge). It was driven to the SOUTH on two separate occasions (a distance of 2,500 miles one way). During the entirety of the business's operation, not a single repair was necessary. There are a few minor "waves" on the sidewall, but seeing as how it does not appear to be a hernia, they do not require any kind of treatment. Even though there were times when it was essential to stop hard, the ABS didn't go away, braking was clear, and there were no markings on the pavement. This is despite the fact that many people write about ABS, and as a result, I have never heard of it in the summer on this rubber. My previous driving experience includes the use of Barguzin, Kama, Dunlop 703, and Continental ecocontact second tires (on another vehicle). Both Barguzin and Kama are resistant, but in terms of performance they cannot be compared (each was rolled back for little more than a season and with a good tread was given or sold further). Dunlop is flexible, comfortable, has good braking capabilities, securely retains the roadway, has decent wear resistance, but a lot of "cones," and it plows through the mud like a cow (3 seasons - for scrap). Ecokontakt2 is made of oak, makes a lot of noise, wears out rather rapidly, has a somewhat strong sidewall, performs well on the ground, paddles in mud well enough to be acceptable for the highway, performs well on the highway, but has a number of punctures (2 seasons - scrap). I will also put Premcontact5 on the second car rather than ecocontact2 because, out of everything, I loved them the most.

Pros
  • Almost completely silent, wear-resistant, and able to tolerate shocks on highways in 2022
Cons
  • No results found
