I had an old Milwaukee hammer drill that stopped working when the brushes wore out. It was during Covid so it took weeks to replace the brushes. This drill has now been sold by a third party and can be shipped immediately. I decided to get my first brushless drill. It took me a while to get used to the difference in sound, but I like it. It had good performance, long battery life, and easy speed control with the trigger. My drill with brushes lasted 6 years before they wore out. I just replaced them and they are working again, but I don't use them as often as these as they seem a bit heavy and clunky now.
