I used this M18 drill for home use and I used to borrow a Ryobi drill from my dad and this thing kicks the Ryobi Drill to the curb. I love the chuck on this drill and not a single bit I've used has lost its grip. Great price for a drill. And it's brushless, so it should last a long time. Because this brushless one is so cheap I wouldn't bother with a brushless one.
I only buy Milwaukee tools and find them to be among the best in quality and durability. My dissatisfaction is due to the fact that it was delivered to a different address. The drill itself looked a little used and when I placed a fully charged battery on the drill the light came on but nothing else worked. I'm pretty sure these are just faulty parts, but when I order a Milwaukee I expect out-of-the-box quality. The return has begun and the return awaits. I hope this is pain free.
I had an old Milwaukee hammer drill that stopped working when the brushes wore out. It was during Covid so it took weeks to replace the brushes. This drill has now been sold by a third party and can be shipped immediately. I decided to get my first brushless drill. It took me a while to get used to the difference in sound, but I like it. It had good performance, long battery life, and easy speed control with the trigger. My drill with brushes lasted 6 years before they wore out. I just replaced
