Review on 📻 Black Metra 99-7504 Single DIN Installation Dash Kit - Fits 2004-2009 Mazda 3 by Jason Flores

This dash kit does the basic job: it fills the empty hole left by a big ol' Mazda radio, and keeps it safe Your new replacement stereo wins a design competition against its only known competitor (Scosche MA1536B) by having its empty storage bag UNDER the radio and not above it (looks better, easier to access). One star off because the curvature of the large main body doesn't quite match the shape of the dashboard. Also, the hook on the underside is too weak to hold the climate controls in place, which now hang casually from the underside of the center console. I don't know of a higher quality alternative, but for the price it's a fair deal.
