Review on Optimized OXO Good Grips Vegetable Brush by Erica Williams

perfect small brush for washing vegetables

The brush for washing vegetables should have a certain attitude, not fragile and flimsy. I love this little brush! I can peel carrot, potato, ginger root, daikon, etc. and the bristles won't move apart if the "shoulder" is too strong, so my veggies peel fine! It lies well in the hand and does not slip. I like to avoid plastic whenever possible, especially single-use plastic items. I used to have a natural wood brush with natural bristles and it was fine, but the natural bristles weren't stiff enough. Plastic is suitable for such things. I will be using this thing for years to come and it has many uses which is why plastic is good for items that have many uses - it's durable. fat tomatoes - I wouldn't peel them anyway. I soak them in a little baking soda to release the nasty toxins modern farmers love to douse their crops with.
