For the price - you really can't go wrong with this mount. I've invested thousands of dollars in my home theater so I was reluctant to use such a cheap mount, but big brands seemed overpriced, a la TV wall mounts. Materials and construction are average, I would describe the paint quality as good to very good. Now that it's mounted to a 10ft ceiling and finished it looks very nice, including the ability to hide the cords in the hollow tube. As long as you put it together very well (tighten the screws well, use the right tools) it's a solid kit at a reasonable price. I recommend.
