Nice addition to the kitchen
I have always used a coffee can for this task and this pot makes the whole chore much easier. It strains out the cracklins and you can either use them or discard them. If you want to use the bacon grease for beans or something else, it is much easier to ensure that it is usable and sanitary. If you just want to gather it until you can discard all at once, it works great for that too. I wish I had gotten one of these a long time ago.
