Poor cable quality on cables and adapters

Although two cables were included, that doesn't justify their poor quality. I bought this kit for my two kids so they each have their own cable. After two days of normal use, the cable jacket on the USB side came off. I thought maybe it was my youngest who was used to being rude. But my older child's cable jacket came loose in the same spot the next day. To make matters worse, after a further two weeks, both sheaths of the cable on the DS side came loose. The soldering of the cable is substandard at best. I will buy these cables again, even at the low price they cost me. Sometimes the price is a sign of quality, as with this product.
