Has 20 clasps and over 40 jump rings; The chain itself is obviously elegant, 1.5mm. The chain is not drawn 100% perfectly; The first picture shows that a few links are "Buddies" but that's just an observation. This chain is amazingly flexible and smooth. The endurance test injured my arms and neck. In the second photo you can see that I pull the chain a lot. I usually cut the chain by cutting off one side of the link and snapping it to avoid breaking multiple links. It didn't work here. Even with a notch larger than the edge of the chain, I couldn't get the link through, much less stretch the link. So there is something about this chain that can resist slipping through the gaps even with somewhat carelessly closed link rings. The link size would be awkward for everyday wear with anything other than lightweight pendants. Anyone looking to wear rough stone wire pendants should choose a size less than 3/4" or 20mm. The links can feel a little sharp and cut your neck during the day if you put a little too heavy on them hanging I think 24 jump rings.They require a bit of patience and a nimble use of pliers to slip through and are a bit soft to the touch until you close them almost all the way.All is surprisingly strong for a chain of this size.
